Comprehensive Renovation of Oršić CastleElementor

We will soon begin construction work on the structural renovation of Oršić Castle, which includes restoration of the castle and equipping a museum storage facility (depot) for the preservation of museum items, as well as the implementation of measures for the comprehensive and energy renovation of Oršić Castle.

The structural renovation will strengthen the castle’s construction, better protecting this cultural heritage from further natural disasters and adapting it to modern usage conditions.

The project envisions a comprehensive renovation of Oršić Castle, which includes moisture remediation, energy renovation, improvement of fire protection measures, and ensuring accessibility for persons with disabilities and reduced mobility, to the extent possible without compromising the essential monument characteristics of the castle.

Measures for comprehensive and energy renovation contribute to the long-term preservation of all values of the cultural heritage, ensuring the health and safety of people, and, through energy renovation, help reduce energy consumption and decarbonize buildings by lowering CO2 emissions.
